Google Authenticator - Instructions
Google Authenticator is an app that adds an extra layer of security to your Google account by enabling two-factor authentication (2FA). This means that in addition to your password, you'll need a code generated by the Google Authenticator app when you sign in.
Installation Instructions
- Download and install the app:
- Open the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS).
- Search for "Google Authenticator".
- Download and install the app on your device. - Set up Google Authenticator:
- Open the Google Authenticator app on your device.
- Select "Begin" or the "+" icon to add an account.
- When signing in to Tujaus, scan the QR code displayed on the screen or enter the account key manually.
- The app will generate a six-digit code that updates continuously. - Signing in to your Tujaus account:
- The next time you log in to Tujaus, Tujaus will only ask for a six-digit code, which you can find in the Google Authenticator app.
Tips and Considerations
- Multiple accounts: You can add multiple accounts to Google Authenticator. Each accountwill display its own six-digit code.
- App recovery: If you change your phone, make sure to transfer the Google Authenticator data to your new device.
